Our Van
It was built in 2017 and has done a few Kms :-). It is a big van and weighty, which is why we have teamed it with a 4.45Ltr twin turbo diesel 2009 Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series GXL. The combination works really well
Mods to our van
Inside
- We moved the microwave down to a better height.
- Added four fans
- Added some extra 12v and 240v outlets
- added a cable to allow us to watch movies from our hard drive
Outside
- Added an extra water tank
- Added extra solar panels (now 810W on roof plus 780W folding)
- Replaced the AGM batteries with 400AH of Lithium
- Added a 2600W Inverter
Communications
- we added a telescopic pole and mount to the back bumper
- Fitted an Eze Eye through the wall opening
- purchased an omni-directional multi band antenna
- added the capability to use the Cel-fi Go from the car into the van
- ability to use Starlink
